What is Just Cause?

Just Cause is Just Cabinets' way of giving back to the communities and customers we serve. We started several years ago, with winter coat drives and holiday turkey donations, on a store-by-store basis.

Everyone was enthusiastic about these programs, so in 2007, we decided to formalize the concept and expand it to all of our stores, choosing Habitat for Humanity as our charity partner. In the first year, a cabinet-related promotion over just eight weeks resulted in donations of more than $33,000 to tri-state Habitat chapters. Many Just Cabinets employees also volunteered to participate in local building projects.

For 2009, Just Cabinets was looking to raise $50,000 for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in a year-long, chain-wide campaign. And we're proud to say we exceeded our goal within just the first six months! In order to keep the momentum going, we raised our goal to $100,000! So far, we have raised $77,014.

How You Can Do Your Part

Come into any Just Cabinets store and make a donation at the register. Just Cabinets will match your contribution dollar for dollar (up to $20,000).

Employee Giving & Company Matching Donation

This year, Just Cabinets' employees set a goal of $8,000, which will be matched 50% by the company AND 50% personally by Just Cabinets' president, for a total of $16,000. This counts toward our $100,000 goal.

At Just Cabinets, we actively seek out causes that affect people in the communities we serve. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a respectable non-profit with a focus on saving children's lives, making this cause the clear choice for Just Cause.

About St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer and cancer-related illnesses. The doctors there treat some of the sickest young patients and handle some of the toughest cases. Not only does the hospital care for children with catastrophic illnesses, but it also provides a home away from home for the families of those children. In addition, the St. Jude team built the second largest health care charity in the U.S. to ensure no child is left behind.
